Researcher biography

Emina is a PhD candidate at the Parenting and Family Support Centre and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course. Emina’s PhD research explored how to best deliver evidence-based parenting interventions to criminal justice system involved parents in the community.

Emina’s background includes working with at-risk families and youth. Emina has broad research interests in the areas of Psychology and Criminology, including evidence-based interventions that aim to improve outcomes for children, barriers to engagement in interventions, parenting, child protection, adverse childhood experiences and intergenerational offending.
