Researcher biography
Alex achieved First Class Honours in psychology at Monash University. For her honours research project she explored neurophysiological correlates of spatial attention in children with and without ADHD. She has also completed several internships and worked in a research assistant position on research projects which investigated mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders in children. She is currently completing the Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) program at the University of Queensland. For her dissertation, she is investigating the effectiveness of Resilience Triple P for children with ASD who are bullied and is being supervised by Prof Matthew Sanders and Dr Karyn Healy. She is also a provisional psychologist and an accredited Standard Triple P provider.
