Researcher biography

Sabine is a Research Fellow at the Parenting and Family Support Centre. Her research focuses on the prevention and early intervention of social-emotional and behaviour problems in children through the delivery of evidence-based interventions. She is interested in making evidence–based parenting support more accessible to a broad range of families, particularly by using technology and brief, low-intensity interventions.

Sabine was awarded her PhD from the University of Queensland in 2017. Her doctoral research evaluated the efficacy of a brief online parenting intervention for parents of children with early onset conduct problems.

Her current work at the PFSC investigates ways to support parents with establishing healthy habits in early childhood.

Sabine is an accredited Triple P provider and a registered psychologist with AHPRA.
