Parent attitudes and practices, gender role stereotypes and child preferences

Gender role stereotypes play an important role in all areas of human development. This research is exploring the relationships between parent attitudes, attributions for behaviour, child activity and toy preference. A parent survey of 0–5-year-old children is helping to identify relationships between parent and child variables.
