Researcher biography

Amina Khalid started her PhD at the PFSC in October 2018. She has done her Masters in Clinical Psychology (University of the Punjab, Pakistan) and has done her Hons in Applied Psychology (university of the Punjab, Pakistan). Her current research focuses on investigating psychological profiles of maltreated children residing in Pakistani orphanages and to deliver Triple-P to the caregivers who are working in those children for the effective management of emotional, behavioural and parenting related issues. Before starting her PhD, she was working as a registered clinical psychologist in Pakistan for the past 5 years in different government and private organizations and also a member of PACP (Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologists).
