Engaging parents in online interventions for their child’s behaviour problems by using action planning
Child behaviour problems have serious consequences for children, families, and society. Although we have effective interventions to help parents address their child’s behaviour, only a small fraction of parents engage in them. Action Planning (AP) is a powerful way to increase engagement in a diverse range of health behaviours, such as cancer screening. This project is testing if providing AP as well as social norm information increases parents’ completion of an online intervention for their child’s behaviour problems relative to social norm information only.
